People’s lives can be messy and overwhelming, and there are times that we need external help to bring our lives back into right order with God. We believe that God can make a difference in every person’s life as they open their hearts and give Him access to their souls to encounter Him and allow Him to meet them where they are at. Churches need to be a safe community where people can come with their brokenness, hurts, and burdens to receive care and ministry through a confidential, caring, equipped, and effective prayer ministry. Prayer Ministry is an important ministry for the local church to provide. Where else do you see people empowered, released and sent out to intercede, support, pray for, give words of knowledge, prophecy and pray for healing? This is frontline ministry. Prayer ministers, when equipped and released to do Spirit-led and empowered ministry, can be an effective and vital part of the ministry team of a church, both on the weekends and throughout the week.

• Session 3 - Hearing God and Prophetic for Prayer Ministry
• Session 4 - Listening Prayer for Prayer Ministers
• Session 5 - The Willingness of God and Prayer for Healing
• Session 6 - Deliverance Ministry Team Training

Basic Training and Tools for Altar and Prayer Ministry
For those interested in growing in prayer ministry skills this session focuses on equipping the prayer minister for effective ministry in praying with and for others. We will be exploring: What is a prayer ministry? Why does prayer ministry matter to the local church? And, offering tools and tips for how to be an effective prayer minister in the local church.

Spiritual Authority and Prayer Ministry  
Understanding who we are in Christ is foundational to walking with the spiritual authority we have in Christ as we partner with Him in Kingdom ministry. What is spiritual authority? Can I grow in my spiritual authority? What is the difference that understanding our authority can make in prayer ministry?

Hearing God and Prophetic for Prayer Ministry   
Hearing God is essential for our own discipleship journey, but also in listening and discerning what God is speaking for the strengthening, encouragement, and comfort of others (1 Cor. 14:3).

Listening Prayer for Prayer Ministers
Often we have ideas of what would be good to pray in response to a person’s presenting concerns, but this session will guide the minister in how to listen and discern how the Holy Spirit may be wanting to speak into the person’s life and difficulties.

Sunday Service  
Topic: The Willingness of God and Prayer for Healing   
Divine healing is not just something that occurred in the New Testament, but is something that we believe Christ is still doing today. Our unwillingness to ask for prayer, or offer to pray with someone can limit our ability to receive and experience Christ’s healing work in our lives.

Deliverance Ministry Team Training  
Sometimes in the midst of prayer ministry there may arise situations that require more than prayers of encouragement or inner healing. This training equips the prayer minister to discern the need for deliverance ministry, and how to minister with love and spiritual authority in deliverance.
