Help for Lytton – Thanksgiving & Reflection

It has been 15 months since we started our ‘Help for Lytton’ ministry in July 2021. During this period, FLC brothers and sisters have made 19 trips to Lytton/Merritt and Camp Hope. In addition to the countless supplies of food, cleaning and household items, pet food, clothing etc., we had prepared and donated 235 Christmas Hampers and 115 Easter Gift Boxes! We have established contacts with numerous people and groups in Lytton. All in all, there were over 200 people young and old across all congregations who participated in the Lytton Ministry in many ways – serving in Lytton, purchasing, packaging, delivering, decorating, praying, donating, writing care cards, etc.

It is time for us to get together to share and reflect on God’s goodness and faithfulness. We have scheduled a Lytton Sharing Meeting during the Thanksgiving Weekend on Sunday October 9, 2022, from 12:30pm to 3pm at church. We are arranging an indigenous caterer to provide lunch for the event. However, you may choose to bring your own lunch.

There will be opportunities for you to share your story or hear others about their Lytton experience. We will also share with you our ministry direction and how you can get involved. Everyone is welcome to attend. Cost for the lunch is $15 per person. Please register your attendance by Monday October 3rd. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
