Tombert & Joyce Chen

Tombert and Joyce are thankful for the years of ministry with Youth for Christ/Youth Unlimited (23 and 15 years respectively). God has always shown them His mercy and grace.

Praise Items:

• God has blessed Tombert to have a strong group of students who have made each other grow into men and draw closer to the Lord.
• God has granted them trips to downtown Eastside, Richmond Foodbank and Camp Stillwood in Chilliwack (10 trips since Dec. 2023). These trips have been wonderful times of building community and friendship, discovering more of themselves and journeying towards God.
• God has guided Tombert towards using Youth Alpha and "the Chosen" series this year with his group. There have been wonderful discussions about faith and God.
• Joyce has transitioned to a new role in the Finance Office. She is thankful for God's wisdom and for her co-workers' support as she adapts to a new system.

Prayer Items:

• Pray for the Lord's guidance as Joyce adjusts her work schedule.
• Pray that the Lord will minister to Tombert as he takes his sabbatical from August to the end of October.
• Pray for the Chens as they are facing a shortfall in finances. Please pray for additional people who would want to partner with them.
