Living a life worthy of Jesus' gospel calls us to trust Him in our joys and our sorrows. Paul's words remind us that at the centre of what we face, we are to maintain a spirit of unity and mindset that follows in Christ's example to live for others.

Pastor Nathan Sun is candidating for the English Assistant Congregation Pastor position and will be preaching on January 11th at the 11am English Service. As well, there will be a Q&A time with Pastor Nathan & Christy from 1pm-2pm in the Chapel in order for anyone in our church to get to know them better.

Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to give feedback to the Elders Board by sending your comments to the Senior Pastor at abe@fraserlands.ca by January 18th. Please keep this candidacy process in your prayers as the Lord guides/provides for our church during this time.

2025 marked EDUPAVI Canada's 6th year as an organization, supporting Guatemalan organization Educando Para La Vida in their 4th year of running an official school. This year the support of many people across Canada not only provided access to education for 130 students (Preschool - Grade 9) in need of school scholarships, but also support for their families who are overcoming cycles of disadvantage to give their children a better future. The English Worship Ministry is hosting another workshop series in January. A highlight of this series is the vocal worship workshop, where our guest speaker Kira Fondse (a Regent student and vocal teacher) will be coming to help us hone our singing skills. All are welcome. Whether you’ve been married six months or 40 years, whether you’re in a good place or struggling, The Marriage Course offers practical support to strengthen your relationship. The Marriage Course is based on Christian principles, but designed to help couples of all faiths strengthen their relationship. Each evening includes a dessert to share, video session on the topic of the evening, and private discussion time for couples. Session topics help couples to communicate more effectively, understand each other's needs, resolve conflict, and much more.

The Safety and Risk Management Training Seminar is mandatory for all volunteers serving with minors in Children's and Teens Ministry. All new and prospective volunteers are required to take the Full Training course in person on Sunday January 18, 2026 at 1pm-3pm. Volunteers who have previously taken the Full Training are required to take the annual Refresher Course. Please click below to find out more about the Refresher Course. Whether you are taking the Full or Refresher Training, please sign up below. The registration deadline is Friday January 16, 2026.

Join us as we gather for worship, reflection, personal prayer time, and corporate prayer for important needs and issues. Let us come together to give thanks, pray for the world, our city, our church, and for each other.

Lunch will be available beforehand at 12:30pm in the Banquet Room for those staying for the Prayer Summit. Please sign up for lunch by Wednesday January 21st. You are also welcome to join us in the Banquet Room if you prefer to bring your own lunch or join us at 1:30pm in the MPR for the Prayer Summit.

We would like to congratulate both Pastor Becky Lim and Pastor Monique Chan on the successful completion of their ordination journey! Our church would like to celebrate by having an Ordination Service for them on February 8, 2026. The service will begin at 2pm in the Sanctuary and light refreshments will follow in the Multi-Purpose Room. We give thanks to God for the good work that He has done and is continuing to do in their lives, their families, and their ministries!

Sunday Parking Reminder
On Sundays, the upper parking lot is reserved for first time visitors, parents with babies/toddlers (up to age 3), people who have limited mobility, handicap parking, and drop off/pick up.
