What God has designed and desires of us is not just to know about Him or have intellectual understanding of who He is. Israel didn't truly know God and experienced difficulties because of that. Knowing God is to have a relationship with Him, to be able to love as He loved.

Hello! We are Don and Betty, Area Directors for Central Asia and the Middle East. The main part of our job is to care for the international workers in our region, whose mandate is "to multiply disciples in the hard and dark places, leading to churches being planted and communities being transformed." There are currently 16 couples or singles in our region—5 in Central Asia,  9 in the Middle East, and 2 currently on home assignment in Canada. Our couples mostly work in the church development and marketplace strategies, connecting with a number of least reached people groups in which either Islam or Judaism is the majority religion. In addition, besides being assistant pastor in a local international church, Don is taking the lead in our relief and development project in Poland, working with Ukrainian refugees. It is our joy to do whatever we can to see that our workers are equipped for this God-given task, supporting and guiding them as we journey together. (Click below for praise & prayer updates)

Please consider joining the Lytton River Festival Ministry Trip on Saturday September 5, 2026. As usual it will be a long but meaningful day trip. You can register online or contact Jamie at 778-552-3123. Please do so as soon as possible to help our planning. Registration deadline is August 16th. There will also be a training/prayer session for participating members on Sunday August 30th from 1pm to 3pm.

FLC mugs will be available to purchase on Sundays July 5th - July 26th at the Info Counter in the front entrance foyer after services. There are 6 colours to choose from: yellow, orange, lime, sky blue, red, and dark grey. Cost is $13 per mug or 2 for $25. Cash or cheque only please. 

English Alpha in September
Wednesdays Sept. 16 - Dec. 2, 2026 | 6:30pm-8:45pm
Registration is now open. Alpha is a 12 week series of interactive sessions that explore the basics of the Christian faith. You can ask questions and share thoughts in a warm small group setting, enjoy food with new friends, watch engaging short videos together to spark conversation, and explore Christianity with no pressure. Maybe you have someone on your heart that you could invite to take Alpha this fall! Register here

Sunday Parking Reminder
On Sundays, the upper parking lot is reserved for first time visitors, parents with babies/toddlers (up to age 3), people who have limited mobility, handicap parking, and drop off/pick up.
