Teens Worship will be restarting in-person services this Sunday May 8th at 11am. We invite the teens (Grades 7-12) to join us in the Chapel. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Where: Capernwray Harbour Retreat Centre, Thetis Island

We would like to invite you to help on our moving days into the new building. Moving will happen in the next two weeks on May 18-20, and May 26-28. We are looking for help with deep cleaning & sanitizing of the rooms, and moving furniture into the new addition. We will also need help with landscaping work. Our next trip to Lytton will be during the May long weekend (May 21, 22, and 23). The community is organizing their traditional annual Mayday Events with a theme ‘Lytton Strong’. They are very grateful for all the help and generosity we have provided to Lytton and have included us in their planning.

Numerous events will be held during that long weekend including a carnival, basketball tournaments, bingo games, a movie night, the crowning of Mayday Royalty, pancake breakfast, and a parade. 

We will be offering the following during that weekend: Carnival Games, Kids Crafts, BBQ, Haircuts, Technol Clinic, and Chinese Dim Sum Lunch.

We need a lot of help! Therefore, we are recruiting people to plan and make the trip. Some of us will be spending the weekend there but others can do a day trip to help on individual events. The Safety and Risk Management Training Seminar is mandatory for all volunteers serving virtually or in-person with minors in Children's and Teens Ministry. 

Full Training Course: Sunday May 15, 2022  |  1:30pm-3pm  |  Chapel
All new and prospective volunteers are required to take the Full Training course in person.

Refresher Training Course:
Volunteers who have previously taken the Full Training are required to take the annual Refresher Course. This year we will have a self-directed online course via Google Classroom which includes a quiz that must be completed before the deadline of May 22nd. Once you receive the invite to the Google Classroom upon sign up, you can take the S&RM Refresher Training Course online anytime prior to May 22nd.

Whether you are taking the Full or Refresher Training, please sign up below. The registration deadline is Friday May 13th.

The Pre-Marriage Course is a practical five-session course offered by Alpha for dating or engaged couples who are exploring the idea of marriage. The Pre-Marriage Course helps build a strong foundation for your relationship. Each week we will be gathering together online via Zoom where we will watch a video as a group interspersed with private breakout discussions with your partner. Deadline to register is May 10th.
