Francesca was born and raised in Hong Kong. She grew up in a Christian home and committed her life to Christ in her teenage years. She graduated from University of Birmingham with a Bachelor degree in Education. She immigrated to Canada with her family in 1997. She attends the English service at Fraser Lands Church with her husband Lion and their two children, Belle and Ivan.
Francesca is passionate about working with children. She believes teaching children the truth about God and the gospel about Christ will transform their hearts and shape their thinking throughout life. Her prayer is that, through learning God’s Word and with the help of the Holy Spirit, the children will grow in faith and build up a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Francesca has twelve years of experience teaching in elementary and secondary schools in Hong Kong. After arriving in Canada, she worked as an administrative assistant for over ten years. She has served in the Children's Ministry at her previous church for thirteen years in different roles such as a Children’s Sunday school teacher and AWANA director. She currently serves as a Children’s leader at BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) and has enjoyed this role immensely over the past eight years.
Francesca speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin, and also loves to volunteer her time for seniors. Her hobbies include singing, playing Guzheng, as well as doing crafts.
