Pastor Symon was born and raised in Hong Kong. After being baptized in 1973, Symon was very keen to learn the truth about Christ’s Second Coming. In 1976, he went to the U.K. for further education after graduation from secondary school. He returned to Hong Kong in 1982 after graduating from the University of Southampton to work in the construction and insurance business for 14 years. Alongside this career path, he also served the Lord at local churches as a deacon. Responding to God’s call in 1995, he came to Vancouver to receive theological training from 1996 to 2000 and was awarded the Master of Divinity degree at Regent College. He then started serving the Lord as a full-time minister in Richmond, B.C. for six years.
After that, Symon was sent to the U.K. as a missionary in 2006 with his family. In 2012, he came back to Vancouver and subsequently joined the pastoral team in March 2013 to serve in the Fraser Lands Cantonese congregation.
Together with his wife, May, and his two sons, Gideon and Gabriel, they always sing praises to the Lord for His guidance, so that his family is able to extend the kingdom of God in different parts of the world and to experience God’s amazing grace and abundant love. Even now, Symon is still enthusiastic about learning the signs of Christ’s return.
