Join us for a joy-filled evening of carol singing, sharing, reflection, and celebration as we anticipate Christmas. This year's theme is "And God Moved into the Neighbourhood". Our Christmas Eve service, "An Evening in December" will be at 8pm on Friday December 24th.

This program will be offered both in-person and live streamed. 

If you plan to attend in person please read the information below regarding pre-registration and vaccine passports prior to coming. Please check back for ongoing updates.

COVID Safety Protocols for AEID (Updated Dec. 22, 2021)

Please note that we will continue to review and adjust our protocols to meet best practices as we receive new information and the health regulations are updated. As a result of even more recent changes to provincial rules, we will now be requiring vaccine passports and limiting attendance to 50% of capacity for this event.

Attendance:

  • Please attend if you have no cold, flu, or COVID-19 symptoms (even mild ones). We will have a simultaneous live stream broadcast option available. 
  • If you plan to attend in person, please click on the link below to pre-register online for contact tracing purposes. 

    PRE-REGISTER ONLINE

  • This event is first come first seat. So even if you pre-register please do come early to guarantee yourself a seat. Please no seat saving.
  • Doors to our sanctuary will open at 7pm and the evening program will start at 8pm.
  • We will be limiting attendance to 50% capacity at a maximum of 200 seats.
  • We require everyone attending this event to be fully vaccinated for your safety and the safety of everyone present.
  • Vaccine passports are required for everyone 12 years old and over. Accompanying ID will be required for everyone 18 years old and over.

Face Masks:

  • Masks are required at all times while indoors for everyone 5 years old and over.

During the Event:

  • We welcome singing for everyone.
  • Seating will be physically distanced on every other row. Please sit at least one seat away from the next group and do not enter or sit in roped-off areas.

Parking:

  • Due to construction, we will have limited parking in the parking lot. Street parking is available. In order to be courteous to our neighbours, please do not park in the guest parking spaces in the neighbouring townhouse complexes and refrain from doing u-turns in their driveways. Please obey posted signs. Thank you for your understanding. 

Safety and Sanitization Measures:

  • Our facilities team will frequently disinfect high touch surfaces throughout the building.
  • Hand-sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the building and at entrances/exits.
  • Snack and coffee stations will not be available at this time.

Live Stream:

  • Anyone who cannot attend in person, for any reason, is welcome to join us online. We will have a simultaneous live stream broadcast at 8pm. It can be viewed via the video player on this page or on vimeo.
