Jesus is Risen; the Kingdom Remains

Mark's description of Easter Sunday is short and puzzling. Jesus does not appear to any disciples nor is there a great commission. Instead, Mark assures his readers that the presence and power of Jesus remains, despite his body being absent. Jesus is risen; the Kingdom of God is still near.
