Malachi: The Last Prophet

Malachi is the last prophet in the Old Testament. His book closes the Old Testament with a challenge. The people of God have once again slipped into covenantal laziness: cynicism, lax morals and half-hearted worship. Malachi enters into an argument with the people of God beginning with the declaration of God's love and ending with the promise of a coming Elijah figure.
