The Father's Love & Compassion

One of the most beautiful passages in the Nevi'im, Hosea 11 reveals the heart of God: a Father whose love is unwavering even when His children rebel. God is depicted as a father teaching His child to walk, tenderly leading and caring for him. Though the sons’ response of rejection and rebellion brings consequences and discipline, God’s commitment to His people never changes. His steadfast love endures, and His deepest desire is not to condemn, but to restore.
