Jackie has been working as the Development Manager of EDUPAVI Canada since its start in 2019. Having served in Guatemala in various ministries over the past decade (her first trip being in 2011), Jackie is passionate about creating opportunities for people to learn about and participate in God's mission of Kingdom restoration. She brings her nonprofit experience to the Canadian side of EDUPAVI operations to inspire and mobilize new advocates through events, partnerships and volunteer opportunities. When not in Vancouver, she is often in Guatemala working with partners in the field, as well as leading team visits from Vancouver to Guatemala.

EDUPAVI Canada
EDUPAVI Canada partners with local Guatemalan organizations to provide inclusive and holistic education to children living in underserved communities. Understanding the importance of preventative empowerment in the fight against inequality and injustice, their school walks with children from Kindergarten through Grade 8 who are at risk of dropping out of school due to poverty-related factors. By investing in their futures, they strive to ensure that the upcoming generations know their value and right to a dignified life, and are inspired to become agents of change in their own communities.
