2025 marked EDUPAVI Canada's 6th year as an organization, supporting Guatemalan organization Educando Para La Vida in their 4th year of running an official school. This year the support of many people across Canada not only provided access to education for 130 students (Preschool - Grade 9) in need of school scholarships, but also support for their families who are overcoming cycles of disadvantage to give their children a better future.

Praise Items / Highlights:

• In February, our school was pleased to host a visit from Nicholas Lai who was able to represent FLC's partnership and friendship in person.
  
  
• After years of dreaming and perseverance, we finally celebrated our first ever middle school graduation (Grade 9) in October for nine of our students! In Guatemala, this is the last year of standardized schooling before technical college, and a huge milestone that the majority of Guatemalan children do not reach. We are also so proud of the eight children who graduated from pre-primary school, and the thirteen who defied the odds to graduate from Grade 6!
  
  
• In October, members of the EDUPAVI Board of Directors (Pastor Lawrence Kong, Melanie Jang, Jackie Wong and Noel Mendoza) were able to attend the graduations in person, and participate in monumental meetings between the two organizations.
  
  
• For God's provision of support for our events throughout the year (like the 8th Annual Craft Fair on Dec 7th) which allowed us to reach our financial goal!

Prayer Items:

• For the 9th Grade graduates, who must now pursue their path without the support of our program as we do not yet have the resources to be able to offer the next stage of schooling. Please pray that we may someday (soon) be able to offer more support in this area!
  
  
• For the Lord's guidance as EDUPAVI Canada navigates through a new phase of growth and partnership with Educando Para La Vida
