Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

As of July 1st , we are into Step 3 of BC’s Restart Plan. In Step 3, we are able to gather together for worship services as long as there is a communicable disease plan in place. Now, I know that many of us miss coming together to worship our Lord in-person at our church – I know that I do! But, as you may know, we are still in the midst of our building project and we have very limited parking on site, and our sanctuary & chapel areas are affected by the construction (at this time) in terms of accessibility and exiting issues for large groups of people. Now, I do want to say that our staff are actively looking at some alternatives in which we can gather together corporately for worship & fellowship in the coming weeks. So I will update you on July 18th as to what this may look like in terms of gathering opportunities and timelines.

At this time, however, I do want to encourage all of us to get fully vaccinated so that when we are able to come together, as construction progresses, we are able to protect ourselves and our church community by doing our part in preventing the spread of COVID-19.

Having said all this, there is nothing to stop us right now from meeting up and reacquainting ourselves with family/friends, going for walks and hikes, having meals and BBQ's together, meeting up as small groups or fellowship groups, especially with the nice weather outside, and to slowly integrate ourselves back into our social life, into our community life, with family/friends and with our dear brothers/sisters in Christ. May we enjoy each other’s company again and to do so safely in the days and weeks ahead.

Thank you everyone for your understanding and patience as we continue to worship our Lord on Sundays together online (at this time) as we are in the process of making plans to gather in-person as a church in the coming weeks.

In His love,
Pastor Abe
