With a team of 16 from across Canada, Fritz Baylen headed to Guatemala City on February 1-8, 2025 for a LeaderImpact Global Exchange. It was an amazing experience for him and the other team members as they trusted and relied on God to open doors and help them share their life stories. Despite several members experiencing delays in travel and illnesses, God used this team to impact almost 1,200 people with their stories and the gospel.

Have you ever wondered what Spiritual Gifts are or if you have any? Come and explore what the Bible has to say about Spiritual Gifts. We’ll discover why we believe Christians receive Spiritual Gifts and how they should be a part of our Spiritual Practices today. For anyone hoping to explore their Spiritual Gifts, we encourage you to sign up for the Sunday School class.

The Pre-Marriage Course is a practical five-session course offered by Alpha for dating or engaged couples who are exploring the idea of marriage. The Pre-Marriage Course helps build a strong foundation for your relationship by teaching you to communicate more effectively, understand each other's needs, resolve conflict, know the importance of spending time together, share goals, values, and dreams.

Easter is coming soon when we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. It signifies new life and new birth.  We have been praying and helping the rebuilding and rebirth of the Lytton community since the 2021 wildfire that destroyed almost the entire village. 

Our next Ministry Trip to Lytton will be on Saturday May 17, 2025, during their traditional Mayday Events. Again, we have been invited to conduct our popular Children’s Carnival. This Carnival brings much joy and excitement to the local children. Will you consider joining us on this trip? As usual, it will be a long but meaningful day trip - guaranteed. Staff Update
After much conversation and discussion with Pastor Ben over the past many months, he has expressed his desire and intention to pursue God’s call for him and his family in Maryland. As such, his last day of employment at FLC will be on July 31, 2025.

We greatly appreciate Pastor Ben’s ministry at our church over the past 6 years, and we would like to wish him and his family God’s very best and blessing going forward. We would like to show our deep appreciation to Pastor Ben and Kelsey by having a farewell lunch for them on Sunday July 13, 2025. More information regarding this luncheon will be made available in the weeks to come.

Please pray for Pastor Ben and Kelsey as they follow God’s leading to make this transition, and also pray for our church as we will dearly miss them and their wonderful family! May the grace and peace of the Lord be with each and every one of us.

Elder Candidates Sharing Meeting

Come hear the candidates share and to ask questions at this meeting. The Elders Election will be taking place during the Annual General Meeting on Sunday April 27th. Four Elder Candidates have been nominated by the Elder Nominating Committee to fill four vacancies on the Elders Board this year. They are Berlinda Chan, Justin Chan, Joyce Chen, and Nicholas Lai. There are no further candidates nominated by the congregation. Safety & Risk Management Training Seminar
The Safety and Risk Management Training Seminar is mandatory for all volunteers serving with minors in Children's and Teens Ministry. All new and prospective volunteers are required to take the Full Training course in person on Sunday May 4, 2025 at 1pm-3pm. Volunteers who have taken the Full Training are required to take the annual online Refresher Course. The registration deadline for both is Friday May 2, 2025.
