Easter is the most important moment in history, where Jesus' resurrection defeated sin and death. On Good Friday, we will meditate on how this act of atonement, the payment for sin's penalty, and our rescue was made possible by Christ's sacrifice.

The combined service will be in person in the Sanctuary + online via live stream (with Chinese subtitles). Please have elements for communion (bread and juice/wine) ready if you are joining us online.

If you are joining us in person, we have a children's program provided for ages 3 - 12 years old in Room 207 upstairs. The Nursery will be open for self-service.

When Jesus gave up His life, it wasn’t just a noble death that we are called to honour. Jesus died so that He could rise from the dead, releasing us from the bond and grip of sin. Therefore, death is no longer the end of the line. Christ brings a new dawn to all who call on His name, and a new path to journey onward.

The youth will be joining the adult service & the children will be joining for the worship songs portion of the service. The Nursery will be open for self-service. 

We look forward to celebrating this joyous event together as part of our Easter Sunday services. All are welcome.

The Elders Election will be taking place during the Annual General Meeting on Sunday April 27th. Four Elder Candidates have been nominated by the Elder Nominating Committee to fill four vacancies on the Elders Board this year. This FREE, pet and family-friendly event is packed with fun, treats, and special activities for both humans and our furry friends! We will be having a combined worship service on Sunday April 27th at 9:30am with the whole church family.

All Fraser Lands attendees are welcome to join us for the Annual General Meeting either in-person or online via live stream and hear the current and future plans of our church. We will celebrate what the Lord has done in our church this past year and elect our elders and the Elder Nominating Committee for this coming year.

Have you ever wondered what Spiritual Gifts are or if you have any? Come and explore what the Bible has to say about Spiritual Gifts. We’ll discover why we believe Christians receive Spiritual Gifts and how they should be a part of our Spiritual Practices today. For anyone hoping to explore their Spiritual Gifts, we encourage you to sign up for the Sunday School class.

The Pre-Marriage Course is a practical five-session course offered by Alpha for dating or engaged couples who are exploring the idea of marriage. The Pre-Marriage Course helps build a strong foundation for your relationship by teaching you to communicate more effectively, understand each other's needs, resolve conflict, know the importance of spending time together, share goals, values, and dreams.

Easter is coming soon when we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. It signifies new life and new birth.  We have been praying and helping the rebuilding and rebirth of the Lytton community since the 2021 wildfire that destroyed almost the entire village. 

Our next Ministry Trip to Lytton will be on Saturday May 17, 2025, during their traditional Mayday Events. Again, we have been invited to conduct our popular Children’s Carnival. This Carnival brings much joy and excitement to the local children. Will you consider joining us on this trip? As usual, it will be a long but meaningful day trip - guaranteed. With a team of 16 from across Canada, Fritz Baylen headed to Guatemala City on February 1-8, 2025 for a LeaderImpact Global Exchange. It was an amazing experience for him and the other team members as they trusted and relied on God to open doors and help them share their life stories. Despite several members experiencing delays in travel and illnesses, God used this team to impact almost 1,200 people with their stories and the gospel.

Teens Camp Fundraiser Update
A word from Pastor Nathan: Last weekend, we kickstarted our Teens Camp Fundraiser, and it was a huge success! We want to say a BIG thank you to everyone who kindly and generously supported us. Whether it was through prayer, words of encouragement, offering suggestions/help, or donating cash, we are deeply grateful for the blessing God has provided us through you. We do not take this for granted, and humbly recognize just how much our community stands with our youth. Hope you enjoyed the goodies, and stay tuned for our upcoming fundraiser events!

Staff Update
After much conversation and discussion with Pastor Ben over the past many months, he has expressed his desire and intention to pursue God’s call for him and his family in Maryland. As such, his last day of employment at FLC will be on July 31, 2025.

We greatly appreciate Pastor Ben’s ministry at our church over the past 6 years, and we would like to wish him and his family God’s very best and blessing going forward. We would like to show our deep appreciation to Pastor Ben and Kelsey by having a farewell lunch for them on Sunday July 13, 2025. More information regarding this luncheon will be made available in the weeks to come.

Please pray for Pastor Ben and Kelsey as they follow God’s leading to make this transition, and also pray for our church as we will dearly miss them and their wonderful family! May the grace and peace of the Lord be with each and every one of us.

Safety & Risk Management Training Seminar
The Safety and Risk Management Training Seminar is mandatory for all volunteers serving with minors in Children's and Teens Ministry. All new and prospective volunteers are required to take the Full Training course in person on Sunday May 4, 2025 at 1pm-3pm. Volunteers who have taken the Full Training are required to take the annual online Refresher Course. The registration deadline for both is Friday May 2, 2025.
