Her brother Lazarus is near death's door and she knows that Jesus has the power to heal him. Instead of taking actions Jesus stays where he is for two days. In that time Lazarus dies. The question is why did Jesus delay? We all have major disappointments in our lives. Whether you're a Christian or not you have to reckon with disasters and failures. In this passage we learn that the power and love of Jesus is real for those who follow Him, but often God has a different agenda than we do. Help for Lytton Update
Our next trip to Lytton will be on Saturday September 24th. We will be participating in the rescheduled Rivers Festival. Most of the original 25 team members will be making the trip. We still need a few members and vehicles for the trip, please consider helping. Your continued support for our Lytton ministry is needed and appreciated. Our mission is to build long term relationships with the community by making ourselves available to assist the Lyttonites in their long journey of rebuilding. Teens Camp Reunion
We will be having a 2022 TC Reunion! Anyone who was at Teens Camp this year is invited back to have a night of fellowship, sharing, and ice cream! Can't find a small group to suit you? This year Fraser Lands is planning to do a "Small Groups Starter Event" on Saturday Sept. 24th at 10am–12:30pm. These new groups will be a six week trial with a "taste and see" philosophy. More details about how this will be done will be provided on Sept 24th. Children's Ministry Updates
The Children's Ministry (Sunday School & Kidz Church) has resumed at 9:15am & 11am. The Nursery will reopen in person on September 25th. However, during the weeks there are no teachers, the Nursery will be self-service with no supervised volunteers. Please note that if your child will be attending any of the Children's Ministries events & programs starting in September, you will need to register your child: 2022-2023 Children's Ministry Registration Form If you are interested in volunteering for the Children's Ministry, please email Pastor Becky (becky@fraserlands.ca).
