Hi church, we would like to invite you to help with cleaning up P1 Level! 

It will happen on November 17th and 19th. We are looking for help with clearing up Rooms P102 and P103 (moving furniture and Christmas Trees), reinstalling light covers (fixture lens) and organizing the new storage at Room P101 (labeling and organization of the storage). We will also need help taking donations to goodwill and recycling to the depot.

Here is the schedule:

Thursday November 17th  |  9am-1pm and/or 1:30pm-5:30pm

Saturday November 19th  |  9:30am-1pm

On Friday November 25, the same night as our “Lights of Christmas” tree decorating at FLC, there will be an “Evening in Nineveh” event that will include a Middle Eastern dinner at 6pm followed by a live video call from Nineveh at 7pm-8:30pm to share some highlights/videos of what our denomination has been involved with.

Please take note of this date/time and plan to attend with your small group or fellowship group before the Christmas tree decorating starts at 8:30pm. It will be a great opportunity for us to see what God is doing in that part of the world and with our C&MA international workers who are serving there.

Fraser Lands Gallery is hosting a Christmas Art Exhibit in December and our opening night is on Saturday evening December 3rd. Come and bring your friends and family to an evening of art and get a chance to chat with our artists as well! Snacks will be provided.

The 5th Annual EDUPAVI Craft Fair makes its highly anticipated return on Sunday, December 4th from 2pm-6pm in the Multi-Purpose Room at Fraser Lands. Not only do your purchases support local artisans, but each vendor at this fair is also donating a portion (or all) of their proceeds toward our mission to provide life-changing educational support to children living in under-served Guatemalan communities. 

Connect Cafe is holding a Newcomers Welcome Luncheon on Sunday, December 11, 2022 in the Multi-Purpose Room from 12:30 - 2:45pm. Lunch will be provided.

If you are new to Fraser Lands and have been coming to our 11am English service for the past year and missed attending the June 5, 2022 Newcomers Welcome Luncheon, please email Gordon & Marie Chow at mariettapchow@gmail.com to register. Registration deadline is November 27, 2022.  

We can express the love of God in concrete and tangible ways. This year we are inviting small groups, families, and individuals to sponsor Christmas Hampers in support of two ministry areas. They are "Vancouver Urban Ministries (VUM)" and "Help for Lytton". You can choose to support one or both. Please join us in supporting these ministries and the families they serve. The deadline to sign up for participating in a VUM Hamper is this Sunday Nov. 13th. Deadline to drop off the hamper is Sunday Dec. 4th.

The deadline to sponsor a Lytton Hamper is Nov. 30th.

Help with Snow Removal 
If anyone can volunteer to help with Snow Removal or applying Ice Melt this winter for the sidewalks, stairwells and entranceways at the church, please contact our Facilities Supervisor, Estefani Maique (estefani@fraserlands.ca).

Baby Dedication
We will be having a Baby Dedication on November 20th during 11am Service. If you are interested in dedicating your baby, please contact Pastor Ben (ben@fraserlands.ca) by November 13th.

Sunday Parking Reminder
On Sundays, the upper parking lot is reserved for first time visitors, parents with babies/toddlers (up to age 3), people who have limited mobility, handicap parking, and drop off/pick up.

Name Tags
After service, please place the string back into the back of the badges and return your name tags to the desginated boxes in the foyer (no need to re-pin them to the boards). Your assistance will greatly help reduce the time to prepare them for the following week. Thanks so much for your cooperation and help :)
