The Blood and the Bread

This week God will take the Israelites out of the land of Egypt. He will do so by killing the firstborn son of every household. God commands the Israelites to remember this event with two ceremonies: the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread. The meaning of the Exodus is contained in these two ceremonies.
