What does it mean to integrate our faith with our work? People spend over half of their waking hours working, and yet many Christians struggle to connect their faith to their working life. Is it enough to give money to church and do evangelism in the workplace? Is there more to it?

In this series Pastor Ben will look at some of the texts in the scriptures that talk about work to help us make sense of our work life under God.

Pastor Ben will be hosting a new mini Sunday School Class. He will take one Psalm each week and lead you through a simple exegesis exercise. We will try to analyse the structure and poetic images of each Psalm, and then follow the threads into the New Testament. All are welcome, no previous bible knowledge or experience is required. Canada Summer Jobs Program is an initiative under Canada's Youth Employment strategy. CSJ provides funding to create job opportunities for young people ages 15-30 years old. As a result, we have two full-time summer positions available at FLC. Please click below for more info.

The Safety and Risk Management Training Seminar is mandatory for all volunteers serving virtually or in-person with minors in Children's and Teens Ministry. All new and prospective volunteers are required to take the Full Training Course in person on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at 1pm-3pm in the Chapel. Volunteers who have previously taken the Full Training are required to take the annual online Refresher Course. Whether you are taking the Full or Refresher Training, please sign up below.

Our next Ministry Trip to Lytton will be on Saturday May 20, 2023 to join their annual Mayday activities. We need help in conducting carnival games, cooking, and serving BBQ. Pastor Nathan is mobilizing our youth to participate in this trip. For youth under 18, please register. The Pre-Marriage Course is a practical five-session course offered by Alpha for dating or engaged couples who are exploring the idea of marriage. The Pre-Marriage Course helps build a strong foundation for your relationship by teaching you to communicate more effectively, understand each other’s needs, resolve conflict, know the importance of spending time together, and share goals, values, and dreams.

Set Free Weekend focuses on learning how to deal with the hurts, hang-ups and struggles that we all face on a daily basis and come to a place of freedom inside our hearts from the past, through listening prayer, confession and learning about the power of the cross.

If you have ever wondered if God still speaks today or how to hear His voice, then we invite you to join us for the Hearing God Seminar! This six week seminar is a guided journey that helps you learn to listen to the voice of God, and sense His presence. It's highly recommended for anyone wanting to build a closer relationship with God.

Teens Camp is an exciting and spiritually encouraging 4-day overnight camp where teens engage with God, and with one another, through praise and worship, talks, devotions, water sports, obstacle courses, team-building games, cabin times, and many other activities and experiences. For ages Grades 7-12 (completed in 2023). Registration runs from May 1-21.

A fun-filled four day overnight camp where children engage in singing, drama, talks, devotions, crafts, and other exciting activities. For ages Grade 1 to 6 (completing Grade in June). Registration runs from April 14 to May 28, 2023 OR until spots are filled up, whichever comes first.

On Sundays, the upper parking lot is reserved for first time visitors, parents with babies/toddlers (up to age 3), people who have limited mobility, handicap parking, and drop off/pick up.
