Slaying giants isn't about blindly trusting God to fight our battles for us. Instead, it requires us to have a basis and steadfast discipline before the battle even begins. So, preparation in discipline, strengthening our foundations, and proper training will prepare us for the battle when we face "giants" in our lives.

Church will remain open if at all possible during winter weather, including snowfalls. In the event of heavy snow or extreme weather that may impact church services on Sundays or events during the week, please check the website for updates.

- Any church closure on Sunday will be posted by 7am on Sunday morning on the church website. If winter conditions make it difficult for you to join our worship service in person, then please join us for our online service.

- For any cancellation of evening events from Tuesday to Saturday, it will be posted by 5pm on that day on the church website.

2024 Donation Tax Receipts will be sent by email in mid-February. If there is a change in your personal info (e.g. home address, email address, etc.), please contact Jacklyn (jacklyn@fraserlands.ca) by Feb. 9th to update your records.

Fraser Lands is hosting a Prayer Ministry Training seminar on February 28–March 2, 2025. Prayer ministry is where we partner with the Holy Spirit's life giving work in a person's life. We have the privilege of hearing God’s voice and watching His Spirit at work in people’s lives.

Jeremy and Carmen Kinniburgh from Threshold Initiatives will be teaching at this three day event on prayer ministry. This event is for anyone who is involved in prayer ministry or interested in prayer ministry, even if you have no experience.

Fritz Baylen & Nicholas Lai will be joining the LeaderImpact team to Guatemala City for a short term missions trip on Feb. 1-7, 2025. Click here for more details and prayer requests.

The Cambodia STM team is excited to work under the leadership of Pleroma Missions in Cambodia (PMC) for two weeks in Phnom Penh, the capital city of Cambodia. Their ministry focus will be with children in school, in the neighbourhood, and in a safe home for victims of abuse.

God blessed them with a team of workers who have experience to match the needs. Not only are they able to take part in PMC's daily operation, but also they will have the opportunities to share the Gospel, strengthen the young believers, and encourage the devoted teachers and workers.

Please pray that God will enable them to adapt to a different climate and culture and to communicate effectively crossing language barriers (via interpreters & body language).

Please also remember Paul & Molly, as they will be involved in other ministries for two additional weeks after the team departs.

Staffing Updates
Pastor Monique Chan (Pastor Joe’s wife) has applied for the vacant part-time Children’s Ministry position. She will be candidating at our church on Feb. 9th by teaching the Grades 1-6’s at Kidz Church at 11am in the MPR. As well, she will be meeting with parents and others who may be interested to get to know her better at 12:30pm in the Banquet Room. Your response to her candidacy can be provided to the Senior Pastor by Feb. 16th. Thank you so much everyone for keeping the Children’s Ministry in your prayers.

Our Facilities Supervisor, Estefani Maique, will be concluding her work & service at our church on Feb. 15th as she will be moving to Alberta. We will greatly miss her and her presence at FLC as she’s been an extremely hard worker and blessing to us for the past few years. We wish her God’s best as she begins her new job and a new life in Alberta. Please keep the needs of our Facilities Staff Team in prayer as we look to our Lord to provide for us.

Sunday Parking Reminder
On Sundays, the upper parking lot is reserved for first time visitors, parents with babies/toddlers (up to age 3), people who have limited mobility, handicap parking, and drop off/pick up. Click here for more info.
