Safety & Risk Management Training SeminarThe Safety and Risk Management Training Seminar is mandatory for all volunteers serving with minors in Children's and Teens Ministry. All new and prospective volunteers are required to take the Full Training Course in person on Sunday January 19th at 1pm. Volunteers who have previously taken the Full Training are required to take the annual Refresher Course. We have a self-directed online course via Google Classroom. Please click below for details. |

You're Invited to The Marriage Course!Whether you’ve been married six months or 40 years, whether you’re in a good place or struggling, The Marriage Course offers practical support to strengthen your relationship. Each evening includes a video session on the topic of the evening, private discussion for the couples, and a dessert to share. Each session features leading experts, teaching content, and stories from around the globe. The session topics help couples to: The course runs for 7 Fridays from January 31 to April 4, 2025 (with break weeks on Feb. 14, March 21, 28). Registration deadline is Sunday January 19th. |

Prayer Ministry TrainingFraser Lands is hosting a Prayer Ministry Training seminar on February 28–March 2, 2025. Prayer ministry is where we partner with the Holy Spirit's life giving work in a person's life. We have the privilege of hearing God’s voice and watching His Spirit at work in people’s lives. Jeremy and Carmen Kinniburgh from Threshold Initiatives will be teaching at this three day event on prayer ministry. This event is for anyone who is involved in prayer ministry or interested in prayer ministry, even if you have no experience. Please consider signing up. Missions Highlight - Fritz Baylen & Nicholas LaiFritz Baylen & Nicholas Lai will be joining the LeaderImpact team to Guatemala City for a short term missions trip on Feb. 1-7, 2025. If you want to transform a country, you must first reach its leaders. LeaderImpact works together with the local leaders of Guatemala City to establish a sustainable platform to connect marketplace leaders. As members of the LeaderImpact team, they will be involved in dinner parties, sector outreaches, business events, and one-on-one interactions with Guatemalan leaders to transform their city for Christ. Missions Highlight - Andy ChengAndy Cheng will be going on a short term missions trip on January 15-27, 2025 to help wrap up the interior renovation work at the Missions Centre for the Atizapan Leon de Juda (Lion of Judah) Alliance Church in Mexico City. This is one of the international work projects (IWP) with the Christian & Missionary Alliance (the C&MA) in Canada. These IWPs are construction projects to assist C&MA International Workers (IWs) and churches around the globe. Each work team consists of brothers and sisters from Alliance churches across Canada. With the support of IWs and the national & local churches at each location, each work team helps with on-site building construction work, ranging from carpentry, electrical, plumbing, dry walling, tiling, painting and others. The team this time will consist of 3 brothers from BC and Saskatchewan (Art Wiens, Tim Archer and Andy Cheng). Click below to learn more about how to pray for them. |
