In the passage Jesus gives a long parable about the talents or the bags of gold. A master gives money to some servants and asks them to invest it on his behalf. When the master returns the different servants present their investments. Jesus is implying that God has given to you and me something to invest in the present. Alliance Women GatheringSunday, January 12, 2025 | 12:45pm Please join the Alliance Women as they host an informal "bring your own lunch" with Molly Choy and the Cambodia Missions 2025 team on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at 12:45pm. We are excited about the trip in 2025 as the team consists of brothers and sisters from our different FLC congregations. Please bring your own lunch and join us to learn, pray and support Molly and the Cambodia Missions team for their upcoming trip in February 2025. Please also bring any new unused cosmetic bags and simple beauty products that Molly and team will bring as gifts to the team in Cambodia. |
Fraser Lands Kitchen TrainingSunday, January 19, 2025 | 1pm-3pm Any FLC ministry group using the kitchen needs to have a kitchen trained "Designated Person" present in the room any time the kitchen is being used during your event. This person will be responsible to ensure that kitchen operational guidelines and policies are followed and the kitchen is cleaned and tidy after use. We recommend having at least 2-3 people from your group trained. Please note that only individuals sponsored by a FLC small group, fellowship, or ministry may register. Please contact the leader of your group for them to register you. If you need kitchen training or it's been a long time since your last training and would like a refresher before your next event, please attend the upcoming training date: Sunday, January 19, 2025 | 1pm-3pm (Training in English) |
